Ray Kong (Senior 125 Open), Akash Neil Nandy (Junior), and Muhammad Luqman Hakim (Cadet) emerged the winners. A lot of the racing was done in wet weather, which did a good job of mixing up the results from heat to heat. View the full results on MyLaps HERE.

Euro Challenge Competition not Dampened by Stormy Weather
Round 1 of the Rotax Euro Challenge for 2010 returned to the popular “drivers’” circuit of Sologne Karting, Salbris, France last weekend where the weather played a very significant role in the results, but failed to affect the spirit of the highly competitive racing.
At almost 1.5km in length, the rather technical track that’s been a selected venue for the series on a handful of occasions now played host once again for 180 competitors coming from five continents of the globe including several new nations being represented in 31.

Gilbert ninth at PF International Kart Circuit
JRP Energy Racing Team driver Mitchell Gilbert competed in his first British event this weekend, finishing ninth in the fourth round of the TVKC Club Championship at the PF International Kart Circuit on Sunday 4 April.
Over 120 drivers competed during the weekend in a three heat – one final format with Mitchell going head to head with scores of British drivers who have spent their lives competing at the Lincolnshire based circuit. Despite struggling with a lack of grip on a slippery track surface and a completely different race format the Australian driver was still able to lap within two tenths of a second of the race leaders.
