At the Press Conference held on 5 January, 2009 in Jakarta, the Malaysian karting company Kartmore Racing Services announced the appointment of a new dealer for the whole of Indonesia effective 1 January, 2009. The new company KARS MOTORSPORTS will be handling all sales and service of Rotax engines, parts as well as other agencies lines held by KRS.The new company will be involved with the running of the 5 rounds RMC Indonesia series as well as one round of the Asia Max Challenge to be held in Sentul in May, 2009. Apart from the above, KARS will be setting up a dedicated service centre to help any driver to re-build their engines and to offer technical assistance. The service centre will be manned by a full time mechanic and assisted by technical staff from KRS. A full range of engines and parts will be made available for sale before the first round of the National Championship/RMC on 18 January.
