The third round of the Rotax Max Euro Challenge was held last weekend at the Speedworld complex in Austria. Marlon Stockinger from the philippines was taking part in the Rotax Max Senior category and fared well in qualifying taking 25th place out of 67 drivers entered for the event. He had a retirement in one of his heats which meant that he had to start in the 2nd-chance heat and wasn’t able to make it directly into the final. Unfortunately he also retired from the 2nd-chance race which meant he didn’t make it into the final. Micheal Simpson from the UK took 1st place in the Senior category aboard a Birel and crossed the line just 17 thousandths of a second ahead of Ben Cooper.
